What are some of y’all’s coping methods?
I am keeping myself busy, but I am also somebody that tends to have to be doing two things at once. For example, I just left my hotel room where I was with my whole family to go get my sunglasses so that we can all go to the pool. While I was walking, I instinctively grabbed my phone to get onto Instagram to see if I could stumble on to something that I wasn’t supposed to be on. I didn’t do it. I left my phone in my pocket, but I started rubbing my fingers together so that my hand was doing something. It kind of made my fingers raw, so I’m wondering if any of you have any suggestions for fidgets or other absent-minded coping skills for when “keeping busy” doesn’t work.
