Turning to God

I’ve been watching p*** since I was 12 and I’m now 18. Over the last few years, I have made a conscious effort to quit but it hasn’t been working. Recently I decided to join this app as a way of accountability. Seeing so many people trying to quit this addiction is amazing and I don’t feel so alone. In this recovery I want to also spend time sharing the gospel. Jesus loves you!!! He came to earth to die for your sins. He offers you the free gift of eternal life. If you’re feeling tempted right now, I ask that you open your Bible and go to the Lord in prayer and read his Word. A verse that has stuck out to me today is: “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Then means because of Jesus’s death and resurrection, we are forgiven of our sins. He has freed us and we can turn to Him! This doesn’t mean that we wouldn’t ever feel temptation again, nor fall to sin but rather that Jesus will always be with us. In Him, we can stand firm and He will never leave us!
