Not impossible, look for little wins. Trying to do it all at once will feel super hard, so see what triggers you have, get curious why you view. Is it boredom, loneliness, or something else? See if you can start building some other connections, maybe a buddy who will hit the gym with you so you’re accountable to someone else.

Also I wanted to add that Ben’s advice is great, ultimately God can and will help you if you help yourself and do those things^ add in some time to pray and just read one chapter of the Bible. You have time to do it, you know. The best way I can put it is this, don’t just try to be more patient and that’s why you grow your relationship with God. If you just sit there and think about how you should be more patient it’ll never work. You grow your relationship with God and then patience comes as a byproduct. Obviously we’re talking about lust here but it works the same way.

The easiest way to get through a week is to stay busy and get rid of triggers. Just find things that you enjoy doing (maybe a sport you love?), hang out with friends, etc.. then take the time to schedule your week out where you’re actually busy. Once you’ve done that, go to bed when you get home. Don’t be up late. The biggest misconception is that you just change your willpower and it stops. The actual application is using that willpower to create a life where you’re not sitting around thinking about it. Sorry people clowned you before, you’re doing the right thing. I promise if you try this^^^ you’ll actually gain some traction. Don’t stay up too late, make your day busy so you’re actually tired when you lay down, then go to sleep

Learn discipline my young friend. Learn that you can give yourself over to one of two higher powers. Either you give yourself over to lust and ego the desire for fleshy pleasure that inevitably will lead to nothing but misery and pain. Or give yourself over to god and the greater good. To be the man that you are called to be required sacrifice. To give up the now for the later. The woman I love left me Monday because of my lustful addictions. Four years together gone. 11 years of knowing each other gone. I regret it immensely and now when I want to JO or look at porn I think of how my heart aches for her and misses her. I am three days in and I will not give in. It is 4:43 in the morning and I’m reading my Bible before the gym. It is possible young brother have faith in God and and have faith that you are powerless without his mercy and grace.
