This question is especially for my homies who have made it further than a couple weeks: does quitting porn noticeably help you in the gym and with dieting impulse control? After bulking these last months I’m cutting for spring and summer, and I’ve had trouble in the past sticking to the right diet. (It bears mentioning I have been very addicted during past attempts at cutting weight.) I’m hoping the Quittr gym bros might share their experiences

It kinda depends on if you just quit porn or if you’re also retaining. Your testosterone spikes after about a week of retention and generally you’ll just feel better about yourself. I’ve found that whenever I try to quit something; porn, drugs, etc., there’s this almost adventurousness to it, I feel almost like a new man and it makes everything better. Ngl that high only lasts for a while and I assume you gotta stick with it for a while to really cement that feeling.
