Hey y’all, i’m 8-9 days clean. My reasoning for doing this is because I told my girlfriend about my addiction and it crushed her. That was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I am on very thin ice with her trust level but I want to be able to love her in the way that I should. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I have a friend who was in a similar situation as you. He told his girlfriend about his porn addiction and at first, she was really upset with him. He was afraid that the relationship was going to end right there but she was willing to look past it and be there for support. Since that night, he hasn’t looked at porn for over a year and their relationship is still going strong. I think you did the right thing by telling her, since it was hard to do. Reading your response, it looks like you want to have a healthy and prospering relationship with her. As long as she supports your journey to break free from porn and you fight those urges, your relationship will thrive!

Honesty bro she probably feels crushed because she didn’t feel pretty enough for you. Honestly I would try to make her feel more appreciated and try to understand how she feels. I hope this helps you out and hope I said this right thing sense I don’t have a girlfriend
