Double post about the book.
I’m serious. If you are here and aren’t fooling around about living porn free, there is no excuse not to at least read chapter one! It is eye-opening. The book explains how we as users experience a lot of stress that non-users do not experience. The stress is not caused by outside factors. It is caused by the chemically induced roller coaster we experience when we use porn. Porn creates a supernatural high in our brains that gives us that good feeling that we experience for a short time. The crash afterwards is just as much apart of porn use as the high. If you continue to use porn, you will continue to crash, feel brain fog, and feel stuck in a painful cycle. Porn users are on a high after using porn. The only way to maintain the high is to use more and more graphic and shocking material. If you continue to use porn, you need to accept that you are going to feel like shit after the high wears off. You can continue to ride this roller coaster, or you can come back to earth and begin to live as a non-user!
