I struggle to get myself to stop when I start feeling temptations or see something that triggers me. Amy advice on what has worked well for you guys to stop the thoughts once you start getting them?
For me to make it through the beginning my reasons for leaving had to be rock solid. I wrote a big list down and read them several times a day. You also need to get VERY comfortable with being uncomfortable. You can almost take comfort in the fact that the cravings you are facing in the beginning will be there for a few weeks so you need to find a way to accept them without panicking. Don’t entertain your thoughts. Don’t question your decision to quit. Simply live and don’t ration with your brain.
The panic button is very good on this app
This app helps. When I want to fap, it’s usually because I’m having connecting. This app gets me connected. Seeing others’ stories and encouragement reminds me I’m not alone
