The thing that changed everything for me is finally understanding that there’s nothing to give up. If I feel like PMO is my precious guilty pleasure then my streak is only the time since my last relapse. A non-smoker doesn’t count the days since his last cigarette because he doesn’t smoke. It’s a simple mental shift that changes everything. One can decide in one day to stop PMOing and just do it effortlessly. The hard part is getting the idea out of your head that it sucks and it will be hard because you are giving up something of value. But that’s the illusion. There is ZERO value in PMO. Get this into your mind and quitting will be automatic.
