So as I’m reading 1 Kings 22, King Ahab dies because he was a bad king that didn’t follow God. His punishments after death was that some dogs would lick his blood Then the second punishment (to tie it all together) is that his body/blood/armor was washed with water that prostitutes bathed in. That second part didn’t really connect with me, I didn’t really think it was a punishment. I just thought it was normal. Water is water, right? Later that day I realized that to the people in those times, it most likely ,WAS, something huge. To them it WAS a big deal. And I realized that sex to them was something sacred. But 🌽 today has rewired us to think that it is a commodity, or a trade or something casual.
