I can agree this is a tough one. But, after I still feel guilty. It’s about the intent in your heart God cares about.
I agree with Nic. I know masturbation without porn seems tempting, I’ve thought about it countless times, but it will only hurt in the long run.
It’s a tough one. While I don’t think masturbation in itself is inherently bad I figure it will be impossible for awhile to not associate it with lustful fantasies brought on by porn. Best thing is to steer clear of it for at least the first 90 days. 🙂

As a protestant christian (presbyterian) I believe that masturbation, even alone, is sinful. The reasoning: Jesus told us in the bible that any sexual activity apart from with your spouse, is sinful. Sex is a sacred thing that was intended to be between one man and one woman who are bonded together by marriage vows which God recognizes. If we masturbate even without porn I believe that we are corrupting this gift that God has given us, and turning it into a self serving, quick dopamine rush which offers none of the benefits that real marital sex has. But don’t take my word for it. I suggest you pray about it and ask God to reveal the truth to you through his word.
