I went 84 days without porn now I’m back to 0. I’ve been feeling depressed and want nothing more than to go back. I finally reached out and told my mom and she justified my behavior. Telling me it’s normal and that it is not my fault that my girlfriend is unattractive that I find more attraction to porn. I feel like I have no one to turn to and I’m fighting a battle alone. I don’t know how long I might last before I relapse again.
Are you saying that your mom said that your girlfriend is unattractive? If so your mom sounds toxic and is a bad influence. If you also believe that your girlfriend is not attractive you should re-evaluate your relationship. A relationship involves both parties needs and desires. You should talk things out with your partner regarding whatever you find unattractive about them and possibly look into couples counseling/therapy if you want to continue a relationship with them. You should also talk to her about your porn addiction if you have not already.
