I am on day 3. struggling because I Wake up with raging morning wood. The temptation is difficult to fight but I’m also dealing with random flare ups throughout the day (not looking anything up just random). What are some best practices to ignore this

In my experience, sadly there isn’t really anything concrete that you can use as a distraction or a way to ignore the urges. The only way to truly overcome this and being able to pay no heed to the urges when they arise, is to have made the conscious effort and decision, mentally, that these urges are of no use to you, no benefit, irrelevant, pesky, and negative. You have to mentally overcome this. Distractions and coping mechanisms are a temporary solution to a much bigger problem. Once you have successfully convinced yourself that you no longer need this and that these urges are just a passing feeling and you don’t even care about them. You’ll have won.
