Is it porn if it’s your partner

If your partner sends you “photos” and “video” for your enjoyment is that considering breaking your streak? I feel like it’s not because I’m not looking outside and they are doing it for my pleasure. Interested in your perspectives

To be honest, this completely depends on your goals. If you don’t view your partner’s “photos” as a same level as porn, then I’d say it’s okay because you recognize that it’s healthier for your brain. However, if you’re constantly finding that you have those same cravings for those photos as you did for porn, then it’s probably not the best.

Admittedly, I don’t have any personal experience on this particular subject. However, IN GENERAL, I don’t view replacement as a very good way of dealing with porn addiction. It’s like the government supplying addicts with “clean” drugs to try to protect them from fentanyl. They’re not ACTUALLY helping people. The addicts are still addicts, they’ve just found a new dealer. And frankly, it’s only a matter of time before they go back to their old dealer.

In moderation and using not in preference over having relations with your partner then it’s not porn, as long as you don’t go to other sources then you’ll be fine just be carful

Totally agree with Freddy. This battle is won when we overcome the triggers that lead us to porn. Watching videos even though it’s from a partner would definitely be a trigger point for me.

My view is that absolutely counts as porn, especially if you’re lusting or MO over the material. Simply put, it’s not real life. On top of that, it’s a slippery slope that will lead you to other porn
