Day 1 - Cruise Challenge
Boys, it’s day one. The tipping point for me downloading this app happened the night before I signed up. I stayed awake in bed, waiting for my wife to fall asleep… just so I could watch porn. With her right next to me. That post-nut clarity hit hard. Shameful doesn’t even begin to describe it. But what made it worse — the next morning, I got up around 6:30 while she was still sleeping. I acted like I was just getting ready for the day, shut the bathroom door… and went right back to porn and got off again. I looked at myself in the mirror right after — and I’m telling you, it was the most post-nut clarity I’ve ever had in my life. Probably the most shame I’ve ever felt too. But I’m choosing to use that moment as a tipping point… not as fuel to chase more dopamine through cheap porn. Now, I’ve got a lot of stress going on in life — probably more than I’ve ever felt. And this has always been my go-to escape. But stress isn’t an excuse. I’m seeing firsthand how this habit pulls me further away from her. I feel the disconnect every time I go down that road too many days in a row. So that’s why I’m doing this. I’m calling it the Cruise Challenge — 30 days, no porn, no masturbation, dialed-in diet, all leading up to the cruise I’ve got in a month. I want to show up to that cruise feeling clear-headed, confident, and in control. I’ve done stuff like 75 Hard before, and when I tack on no PMO, it seems to stick better. So this time, I’m putting it out there publicly — I’ll be posting here every day with an update. Let’s see how far we can take it. Let’s go.
Delete anything that might lead you into temptation, social media, certain videogames, whatever it might be. Do not make it any easier for an addiction to creep back into your life
