It’s the mindset
Day 1

I relied on the app to keep content blocked and in my moment of weakness I searched it up and the blocker decided to not work that day and I looked for like a good hour at stuff. It reminds me of in the Bible when it talks about fleeing from lust and how it cannot be controlled no matter how much you think “you’re in control.”
Fleeing from lust and turning to Jesus is the only way I’ve found to fight this battle. You can add the content blockers, you can delete every app but if you begin to cave into sin and fall for its trap then you will fight tooth and nail to get what you want. I’ve been down that path too many times. Deleting the content blockers, downloading old apps, using VPNs, convincing myself it’s okay for a moment. You’re so right about it though, it’s the mindset. If you fall in your mind and cave into the thought of watching porn or masturbating, then you’ve allowed yourself to fall into the action itself. The Bible also talks about taking every thought captive. That is such a practical thing I am still learning. Taking every thought captive, the good, the bad, the alright, and not letting my thoughts overwhelm me
