Today’s Sermon

Today Sermon was about conquering the Idols in our lives. One of My Idol is clearly Pornography. My advice for anyone, search your hearts for the hidden idols in your life. The cycle of addiction is as follows, examples adjusted to those dealing with Pornography. Legitimate Emotional Needs (sex) > Idols that I think fulfill me (pornography)> Illegitimate Ways for Fulfillment (Masturbation/Adultery) > Shame/Guilt > Unfulfilled Legitimate Needs and the loop continues. We got to break this cycle. Your cycle should be Legitimate Emotional Needs > God > Peace. Only then will you truly the escape the spiral of addiction.
