Hey guys I’m not sure if this is the same I’ve struggled with porn and masturbation. I been trying to limit my masturbation and focus solely on my gf but sometimes we don’t see each other as often is masturbating to her or videos of us the same as porn if it’s in moderation?
I think the key is not having external stimuli (pictures, videos, etc) when you do it, but if you can avoid it, you definitely should. For me I’m trying to wean myself off the porn first (the easier task for me) then I’m hoping the lack of stimuli will slowly lead me to over time not need to jerk it either
I completely agree. It’s not nearly as bad as porn, but we as humans don’t have any biological need to sexually pleasure ourselves. So, by doing that, you are doing something unnatural and it’s a slippery slope back to porn. I think it’s up to you though. For me, the answer is no, but that’s just my journey
Seems like a kind of touchy subject, while I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with pleasuring yourself to your partner, you’re still giving your brain that trigger of self pleasure similar to porn. If it were me, I would focus on self control so the next time I’m with my partner, it feels more “rewarding” which should ultimately be the goal, to get away from the stigma that porn creates so we have real sexual connections and not fantasies. In conclusion, like I said, I don’t think it’s wrong to pleasure yourself to your partner, but I think it could be a slippery slope.
