The Lord is my Strength
“You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” Psalms 118:13-14 I thought I’d offer a little encouragement this morning. It’s always been very easy for me to feel like I was alone fighting an uphill battle with a thousand pounds on my back and my ankles tied together. I’ve spent more than half my life fighting this fight. But since I downloaded QUITTR and found this community, I’ve begun to feel a lot more reflective about what this battle actually is. I don’t fight it alone. Not only do I have this wonderful community in my corner, most importantly my God goes before me and if my God is for me, who can stand against me? What strength I have belongs to the Lord. What courage I have belongs to the Lord. What hope I have belongs to the Lord. What boldness I have belongs to the Lord. What power I have belongs to the Lord. HE is my salvation. Not, he WILL BE my salvation. He IS my salvation. He already won the victory on the cross over sin. It’s time for me to walk in that victory. It’s time for all of us to walk in that victory. Be blessed everyone. 🙏🏼
This is so true, Michael. And it’s a very encouraging reminder. I know this battle is heavy, but we have much stronger God that upholds and strengthens each of us to endure it. Great work on day 7!!💪🏻
