This is supposed to be an app about quitting porn, yet a lot of people talk about god and recommend reading the bible. i’m not saying that’s wrong, but it honestly feels it’s just people promoting christianity on here. im an atheist so i find that kind of advice useless to me, idk. does anyone have thoughts on this.
It usually is about where the morals and ideals you want to follow come from. If they come from God, then you will use God to aid you. If not, then you have some other reason. In any case, porn is a negative thing in our lives.
People are discussing what works for them. Best not to get too wound up about people with different beliefs. “As an Atheist, God bless you guys!” - A sober, recovering addict I know in person.
I can see how the religious angle might not resonate with you as an atheist, and I respect that.
