Been addicted to pornography since I was introduced to it in 7th grade by my so called “best friend” at a sleepover. I’m now 23 and engaged, set to be married in April. The thought of my future wife and kids having a husband and father addicted to pornography is whats driven me so far, and will continue to drive me. Today is day 22 without porn (really day 25 because I stopped 3 days before downloading the app) which is probably the longest I have gone since 7th grade. I never post things like this or look for pats on the back, but I’m extremely proud of myself and felt the need to share. To everyone else struggling with this habit, stay strong and remember why you chose to quit.
I’m in the same boat as you in about every way! I woke up and finally realized it was an issue after I got married. At least I married a good partner who is understanding and is helping me through this.
