“Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand”

Those are Jesus’ words in Matthew 4:17. I don’t say this to drag anyone down, but to help us all understand what is at stake here! To be clear, salvation comes only from faith alone in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, believing He bore your sins on that tree (John 3:16-17, Romans 10:9). The act of repentance is to turn away from your sin and turn to God instead. Too often we attempt to turn from our sin without turning to God, which leaves us without a firm foundation and allows us to more easily slip back into sexual sin. Stay firm in the Lord my brothers, don’t JUST turn from sin. Turn TO Him who can keep you from it. God bless you friends, I am praying for us all now
