✝️Battle Buddies: Day 33
Church was astounding today, you could see God’s hand In everything that our pastor spoke. We talked about accepting God’s answers in life. These being: “can you accept when God says “No”, can you accept when God says “Yes”, and can you accept when God says “Wait”. It made me realize how often I drive the ship rather than accepting God’s answers and fully understanding that His will is far superior than my own. “Wait” and “No” can be the two most challenging as we often like to get our way and we don’t like to wait for the things we want. We must understand that the Lord has a plan that is far greater than our own and also knows when the right time for every thing is. “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:16-18. Brothers in Christ Michael, Cameron, Jan, and You: Everyday is made new, a new day of repentance, a new day of love, a new day of bearing the cross. I’m reading a book called “Disciplines of a Godly Man” and it outlines how much we men have slipped in recent years. I charge you to not be like the rest of the world, to stand upright in your faith as you have already started to do! God bless you guys. Grace and peace, brothers! Sisters in Christ Kathryn, Mikayla, and Kayhla: The Bible has a true soft spot for the women of God. So much so that in 1 Peter 3 it tells husbands that their prayers will go unanswered if they so choose to not follow God’s calling of their conduct to their wives. You daughters of God are truly cherished by Him and He will take care of you so long as you continue to surrender to Him. I pray you continually abide in the Father and let Him seek out any iniquity so that it can be brought to the light. Stay strong in the Lord!
I'm very happy to read this Robert! And praise God you're at 33 days!!🙌🏼 Thank for sharing about your sermon, I think that's a good message for anyone to hear, but especially the brothers and sisters here, with our particular struggles. God does have His own highly specific plan for each of us, and while it *is*s a struggle trusting in His timing-- we know that all thing work together for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8) And we love Him. :) Praying for you today!
