Ashamed and embarrassed

I just wanted to wanted to post my story here. Being addicted to porn and drowning myself to lust really corrupted me. Though I believe in God, I deceived myself and acted as if everything is fine and normal every time I watched porn. My brain was so corrupted that I started having a group conversation on Kik about sex and lust. I was stupid enough to be tricked by a guy presenting as a woman, we discussed about the corrupted fantasy. He obtained my phone number. From then, my world turned upside down. He obtained my wife’s information and her family’s information, threatening to post what we had talked about and the pictures we’ve “exchanged”. He ripped a lot of money off of me, even though I was fresh out of a graduate school and wasn’t making much money. He wasn’t bothering us, until yesterday, he reached out again to demand more money. The mistake I’ve made is forgiven by God and by my wife, but it is so scary what evil can do to a corrupted mind. We changed our phone number but I have to live a life afraid that the scammer will somehow find a way to reach out to me…
