After a 12 days streak( I relapsed🤦🏽‍♂️)

thanks Earless, you’re absolutely right and spot on, it’s not by might nor by power but by the help of the Holy Spirit. I’ve backslided and I would like to get closer to God again, that’s why I’ve been trying my best even though it’s not enough, I seriously need God, pray for me. 🙏🏽

Don’t count the days because it’s the power of God that sets us free not numbers. Speaking Gods word and using it as a sword over temptations and choosing Him over this sin helps me and I feel so fulfilling choosing God over this sin. It’s not necessarily doing it on your own strength but it’s your decision whether you want to choose God whenever you’re tempted. Even if you have a thought, don’t beat yourself up for it, you are not defiled by your thoughts nor your mistakes. Rejoice in the Lord and know that the Peace of God will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Don’t give up because I never did, even though I am still trying to receive break through from my intrusive thoughts, I know that they don’t defile me and I should always keep my mind on Him! Philippians 4:7 (NIV) Philippians 4:8 (NIV) Write down these Bible verses on a sticky note or somewhere you know you will see everyday and try to memorize it and do the same thing with other Bible verses so you will be able to overcome the temptations from the enemy, not from your own strength but from His which is His word!

thanks Roc, I was fully committed to never go back to this nonsense but shit happens I take accountability as man that I did wrong and learn from my mistakes. Keep checking on from now Roc, if it’s not too much to ask…I know this will help me to even get more motivated💪🏽
