So far…⏳ (2 weeks)
Second time coming here to post on the update so far. I wrote a similar post last week (this will be a weekly thing) about my journey to getting rid of my pornography addiction. So far, I haven’t had any urges or temptations. I don’t really miss the feeling of watching pornography but rather remember how bad my pornography addiction was that one weekend I relapsed seven times - it was beyond awful. Since then, I have focused on a lot on improving my mental and physical health. This week I went to the gym 3 times whilst running twice this week. Alongside that I play a team sport and go to practice and volunteer at a charity store - this week 3 times. I been focusing on maintaining a good, clean diet - eating my fruits, vegetables and lean meat. I probably need to reduce the amount of tea I drink, however. 14 DAYS - Has to be a new record, before this 8-9 days was a record but I kept relapsing at this point. It was a constant fault around those days. Those days are over, but the journey continues.
This is fantastic. Great job doing things that build you up (gym, running, volunteering) and abstaining. I’ll be praying for you, man! I wanna see your next post.
