Day 45! Don’t Count The Days!
I never would have thought I would make it to 45 days free of no porn and masturbation. The longest I went was 30 days and that was months ago before I found this app. Being exposed to pornography at the age of 10 years had me addicted for 16 years. I was at a constant battle of stopping for weeks and on months to relapsing and starting over again. Not until I really got into the word of God, defeated the battle with my flesh, and had control of my mind is what has broke me free from lust. Since then I have a lot more energy, I’m more focused, I am reaching and accomplishing more goals, and I am back on track following my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The drive I have right now is unbelievable. I look at women for who they are now (Matthew 5:28) not just pieces of meat I would like to fornicate with. The drainage that porn and masturbation does to your mental and body is deadly. The devil enjoys keeping you in that place. DO NOT let lust win. It all starts in the mind (Romans 12:2) once you defeat the battle in your head the rest is golden. Don’t let your mind control your body, say no to your flesh and keep going. Don’t count the days ladies and gentleman. Make it a lifestyle. I pray that each and every one of you conquer this battle of lust that has you held down. Get active, find a new hobby, set up website blockers, talk to a therapist/mentor, talk to anyone you trust about your addiction, confess your sins, and READ YOUR BIBLE! You get this. KEEP GOING!
What really made me realize that I was in a never ending spiral was when my why wholesomely took my phone to set up a movie for us to watch on the tv and there on safari was an OF sign up page. It all whet down hill from there. I feel like a terrible husband and a failure.
