Prayer and Bible for the day-

The way to watch my steps isn’t to look incessantly at them, but to look to Jesus! “My son, be attentive to my wisdom; incline your ear to my understanding, that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge. For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil, but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps follow the path to Sheol;” (Proverbs 5:1-5 ESV) God please help me and those reading this today to be reminded of the end of our actions with pornography and letting our lusts take over. Help us to not dwell on that end though, but to look to You who is our ever present help in time of need. May we look to you not just when we struggle, but as often and ever as we can. Praise You God that there can be freedom and that you desire us to cure these behaviors and sinful tendencies through and by Your Name! Amen.
