Self hatred is the biggest detriment to your journey of quitting. It's ok to feel frustrated or defeated upon relapse, but never, never hate yourself for it. We are all sinners, and few of us will become saints, so it's incredibly important to acknowledge that it's normal to sin. That being said, never make it an excuse for you to relapse. Just because we all sin, it never should stop you from achieving a better self. However, when you run into a roadblock on this journey, think back at the fact that it's all normal, to sin is human, you'd soon find you hating yourself much less. Strong negative emotions such as hatred builds up pressure, and needs a way to be decompressed. That way is often times relapsing harder than ever before. So stop hating yourself, and soon you'd find yourself going farther than you could ever hope for. Think of it as for each day you refrain from pornography, your bond with God grows stronger, and when you likely will relapse, instead of all the bond you've built reverting to before, the progression gets paused for a few moments. You are always moving forward. I also believe pornography is a bigger issue than masturbation itself. Like I said before, sexual urges and lust is just an inherent part of human nature, and it's not that bad in moderation. However, porn is something obscene and unnecessarily. At its best, it's a huge waste of time and an addiction that prevents you from getting better; at its worst, it's the crime of voyeurism, which is far more specific and detrimental than lust itself. Sex should be happy, as usually sinful things bring us joy. But instead of trying our best to contain the sins, watching porn is indulging it to the next level. It's harmful to the watcher, and highly disrespectful to those who performing regardless of their takes on it. Next time when you want to relapse, don't ever try peaking or looking things up. Worst comes to worst, if you have to do it, touching yourself ever so briefly is far better than getting into porn again. I believe, if you let go of self hatred, you'd never reach a place where you'll have to do it, though.

Sin leads to death. Unrepentant sin leads to death. We must cut off whatever is causing us to sin. I think you have a good idea. But sin is not normal, yes we all sin but sin is bad. God hates sin so much he sacrificed Jesus on the cross so our sins are forgivin. It’s not good for us to re crucify Christ on the cross because we can’t stop being wicked. We must flee from sexual immorality. It’s never okay do do it. But because God loves us so much, his grace conquers our sin. He is greater than our sin therefore we should be want to live a life that honors and reflects him because he first loved us. So don’t have worlds grief but Godly grief as in 2 Corinthians 🙏🏽
