People as Christians we often speak about repentance but I don’t think we speak much about being born again. You can repent day by day by day for the same sin and you may have sincere remorse and shame behind your addiction bc other wise you wouldn’t be on this app but there’s a verse that was explicitly spoken from the mouth of Christ that states “Unless one is born again, he cannot witness the Kingdom of God.”(John 3:3) This simply means that it’s probably not enough to have sincere remorse alone but there’s no change of heart which would directly affect your way of life. One time God blessed me with a wonderful and I quit fapping and watching porn at first when had gotten hired. I repented for my deeds behind closed doors and promised to never return to ways but it wasn’t until months later not too long that I had just gotten the job although I was still on my 90 probation period that I had a couple relapses then I started staying up late again pleasing myself instead of getting adequate then next thing you know I’m falling asleep on the job WHILE I’m still on my 90 day probationary period along with me being on my phone AT WORK looking at IG models and texting my friends. They didn’t even let me finish the 90 day probationary period but they went on ahead and got rid of me. So yes I got fired and lost my job and I’m saying this so you can understand how this addiction can ruin your life along with your soul as well.
