Battle Buddies: Day 22

I am late to post as I just got home from the talk with my ex. Although it may say I’m at day 23, this will be a reflection of day 22: The talk went very well, we both found peace and unity in the conversation. We both expressed existing love for one another but also agreed that this is not the season to pursue a relationship. She was still the kind and loving daughter of God that I knew her as, it absolutely tugged at my heartstrings but the Lord kept me honest and gave me the strength to hold to my 90 days without distractions. She truly does have a heart for God that I admire. We laughed, we cried, and we asked for forgiveness. I could tell we were both falling in love all over again. This is nothing that I could have ever done on my own, your prayers are what got both her and I through this conversation in Godly harmony. I appreciate you fellow brothers in Christ so much, every day I look forward to reading your post and seeing God’s hand in your lives. It is truly incredible. Brothers in Christ Michael, Cameron, and Jan: Thank you again for your prayers, I could feel it before the conversation because I was hit with a wave of peace. You gave me the strength to tell the truth and have integrity because of how open and honest you are, I thank the Lord for you men! I’m so excited that it’s you guys that I get to battle this temptation with, and maybe other men to come!
