Breaker Come In
I posted this morning about how God is our chain breaker. Well fast forward and the message in church was about God being our breaker. It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit can align and orchestrate things to come together. A couple highlights I took from it that I thought I’d share: First, God is a supernatural God and He loves being supernatural. He loves to show His power. He loves to show us His authority over darkness. He loves to heal. He loves to set free. He loves to do miracles in our lives. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like He’s holding back the miracle, when the truth is the miracles already on its way. The people of Israel probably felt like God had abandoned them when Egypt put them into slavery but little did they know that God was raising up a miracle man named Moses. The miracle is on its way. Your miracle is on its way. And I know that because our God is a God of miracles. Our God is a supernatural God and He loves to be supernatural. Second, the word the Bible uses for breaker is “parats” and it means to bring into a wide open space. The devil likes to restrict us, he likes to put us into these tight, bound up, chained up places. But the Lord wants to bring us into a wide open space. I don’t know about you guys, but porn has been a MASSIVE restriction in my life. I’m ready for the wide open space. I’m ready to be able breathe again. I don’t know how many of you have ever been unable to breath but as an asthmatic I’ve been there many times. It literally feels like someone is stepping on your chest, like your lungs are physically unable to expand no matter how hard you try. I believe that the Lord wants to bring us all into wide open spaces. He wants to lift the devil’s restrictions off of our lives. Last, as believers we’re meant to partner with the Breaker. One of our tasks as believers and followers of Jesus is to participate in and join with the breaker who goes before us to break down strongholds, barriers, and walls so that we can find true life and freedom in Christ and so that we can help others find true life and freedom in Christ. The marks of a breaker are these: Breakers show up. Breakers don’t give up. Breakers don’t let up. I thought you all might be encouraged by this as I was. Praying for you all. 🙏🏼
This is a very good message, thank you for sharing it here.
