Fight porn, not masturbation

This is so far the technique that worked the best for me. Since porn is linked with masturbation, you have to dissociate them. Dissociate the natural need your body has to be horny, and the unnatural way to fix it by watching porn. Try to take some time off, no porn, no masturbation. When the moment relapse because unavoidable, focus on simply not opening any porn. Masturbate without anything. It will be hard, especially the first times doing it. In the worst cases you might not even be able to stay hard. But this is the last fighting step, and you have to hold it. After doing that, each time you are about to relapse, you will notice an increase of the gap between your last masturbation, and your next one. It's your brain rewiring. The goal here is to wipe out porn from the equation, not both masturbation and porn at the same time. Masturbation itself is still an issue, but it's always better alone than with porn. So fight porn first, and do not fight both at once !

If you do this, it’s important to not think about or visualize porn scenes from memory while fapping. Doing so triggers the same synapses in your brain as watching porn. If you’re fapping without porn, focus only on the feeling in that moment, or at most, recall past IRL experiences. It’s still not great, but you’re right that it’s better than watching porn.
