Big Shoutout to Everyone Fighting This

First off, I just want to shout out everyone on this app who’s trying to stop watching porn. Seriously, so much respect. There are so many people out there who won’t even acknowledge they have an addiction. I used to be one of them. This isn’t the longest streak I’ve ever had, but I can honestly say the urge to not go back feels stronger than ever. I’ve been staying busy, trying new things, reflecting on the harm I’ve done in the past, and focusing on who I actually want to be in the future. I’m not religious myself, but if you are, just know that God is rooting for you. You are not alone in this. Today I caught myself planning my day around the idea of watching porn later. It’s wild how sneaky the brain can be. But I saw it for what it was, and I’m choosing to do the opposite. That awareness, catching the pattern before it grabs hold, is something I never used to have. That’s progress. I love all of you out here showing up and fighting this. I’m proud of us as a community. Keep going. We are doing something real.
