Sexting is different than porn, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t just as unhealthy. It activates the same centers of your brain that porn does and releases the same hormones, leading you to become dependent on it and develop a distorted view of sex and intimacy. I would avoid sexting for the same reasons you would avoid porn.

In the beginning of your journey I’d avoid it. Your brain is seeking those chemicals and images that it associated with porn and even if it’s your partner your brain might start to view your partner as that. Plus it can easily lead to a relapse. I would avoid it for a bit, real sex is fine though.

If you are in a relationship with the person then I’d say no it isn’t porn. But sexting with strangers or things like that isn’t exactly porn but it’s not healthy either

I feel like it is, it’s one thing to get nudes sent to you but the effects mostly come from masterbating.

I personally don’t think so, I think as long as your not on a website or app your good, if your doing that in a relationship with someone it should be good
