If you let that shame get to your head it will only hinder your progress. Trust me I’ve done this to myself multiple times after losing a streak, and it always end up back in repetitive porn use. A better way to look at it would be to feel bad for yourself that you are a victim of an evil industry, and try that much harder to do better day to day. If you are more empathetic towards yourself when you mess up, you will do better the next time around. Think about it like a kid learning to ride a bike. If he falls and beats himself up for it, he will eventually quit trying. But if the kid tells himself, “Hey it’s okay, you’re only human. Let’s try again.” He will get back up and keep trying, and eventually falls less and less. God speed brother. I know you can do it.

Do not feel ashamed. You made it 2 weeks, don’t punish yourself. Let’s do 3 weeks this time!
