I’m looking to start going to the gym to both gain some healthy weight (muscle) and to create a good habit. I’m looking for suggestions on what a good 7day/week plan would be to use. I am a basketball player so I’m not trying to super bulk. But I’m a little smaller than I’d like to be. Any advice is welcome. 1 day at a time boys, we can beat this.

Honestly, (I assume you are new to lifting) since your muscles are not used to working out anything really works. Since you do basketball I would focus on not only building mass which would include lifting heavy-ish and low reps and sets but also muscle endurance. I would go on walks or runs to help your legs and tendons to prevent injury and that is also a great way to keep your mind off porn. I would follow Dr. Mike on YouTube and Maxtaylorlifts for good lifting advice and content Dr. Mike isn’t very PG but he has very good lifting advice. Maxtaylorlifts is a great guy he’s super chill and honest he’s friends with lexx little who is also a good lifting content creator. At the end of the day tho, you gotta find it out yourself this is your body and you are built different from everyone else so if something works do that and stay safe brother, God bless.

Lots of videos on YouTube of workout routines but I recommend just doing some research and finding the split that fits you. The most important part is consistency, play around with different workouts and splits until you create a routine that aligns with your goals and you enjoy doing.

Honestly if you go online and type in google like specific workouts for your needs, there a lot to choose from based on experience level, goals, etc. that’s what I did.

Thanks man, do you have like specific exercises on those days? Ik it’s a lot to maybe say here. But I’m pretty green to this. If you have the time I’d love some more specifics. My insta is lmastin06

I would do like 1.back/shoulders, 2.chest biceps/triceps, 3.legs/glutes, 4.then a cardio abs day

I can tell you as a weight lifter myself definitely don’t want to do 7 days rest is crucial for sure I would go with 4-5 days
