THIS GONNA HELP YOU! THE FINAL MESSAGE IS STRONG!!!
Jesus Christ and the Bible consistently teach that we should flee from sin rather than trying to fight it on our own. Nowhere does Scripture say that we have the strength to overcome sin by ourselves; instead, it teaches that God provides a way of escape and that we should rely on Him. Here are key passages that support this: 1. Flee from sin: • 1 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV) – “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against their own body.” • 2 Timothy 2:22 (NIV) – “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2. Resist the devil, not fight him alone: • James 4:7 (NIV) – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” • Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV) – “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” (It says to stand firm, but the strength comes from the Lord, not from ourselves.) 3. God provides a way of escape: • 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV) – “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” The Bible never tells us to fight sin in our own strength—it tells us to flee from it and seek God’s help. Our victory comes not from our power, but from submitting to Christ and allowing Him to fight for us. Imagine you’re a featherweight UFC fighter in a match against a heavyweight. You’ve tried everything in your power to win, but you just can’t. He keeps knocking you out—over and over again. Every time you get back up, he knocks you down even harder. But this fight never actually ends, even when you’re knocked out. And every time it happens, you hear a voice saying, “Step out of the ring and let Me fight for you.” That voice belongs to the greatest fighter to ever exist. He tells you, “Get out and let Me handle this. The guy you’re fighting is nothing to Me.” But you’re stubborn. You keep trying to win on your own… until one moment when you finally say, “I can’t do this by myself. Please, step in and fight for me.” So He steps into the ring—and defeats your opponent so effortlessly that you can’t believe what you just witnessed. You think to yourself, “How is this possible? All I had to do was let Him fight? Why did I waste so much time trying to do this alone?” This is exactly how our battles with sin and temptation work. So often, we’re “fighting” an enemy that is bigger, stronger, and more experienced than we are. But remember: there is nothing and no one that God cannot defeat. He doesn’t even struggle to do it. The moment He fights for you, you’ve already won. So obey His Word when He tells you to flee from sin and seek God’s help—because our victory doesn’t come from our own strength, but from surrendering to Christ and allowing Him to fight for us.
