This is probably a stupid question but if my girlfriend and I participate in intimacy will it be considered relapse? I assume not, but we also enjoy “playing” with each other, not just sex. I assume it will be okay since I do not go out and consume porn/masturbate and I rely on her as my only sense of relief. Opinions? Is this healthy?

But here’s the thing: those of us who are addicted to porn or masturbation often get off on seeing others or feeling ourselves. When it comes to being with our partners, the pleasure doesn’t last as long, or it doesn’t feel the same, or it might even go up and then come down quickly, and that’s what we want to avoid. But you’re saying you don’t rely on porn or masturbating, so I don’t really see how you have an issue with either subjects. So my opinion is: You are definitely NOT relapsing by having fun with your partner. In fact, that’s what most of us want to be able to do by kicking this nasty habit.
