This idea is extremely motivating to me. But what exactly does it mean? How does it work?

So our brain has this thing called neuroplasticity, also known as neural plasticity, and it’s the brain's ability to change and adapt its structure and function throughout life based on the experiences and behaviors we observe.
So when you’re addicted, you literally are changing your brain to be a consumption machine. And when you stop, your brain has to form new pathways since it’s not receiving the same stimulus as before.
