I’m reminded every day that this isn’t just a battle against chemicals in your brain, this is a battle against dark forces, against the demons. It’s not just a battle against porn, but against the deadly sin of lust. Someone who has helped me a lot has been Father Spyridon (Orthodox Christian priest with a YouTube channel). I HIGHLY recommend you look him up and watch his videos on “battling lust”. He has a few. They’re mostly focused on the modern porn epidemic but he touches on the foundational problem of lust very well. The wisdom he shares is solid, old-world, ancient church stuff.
