Hi! I just downloaded this app but I figured I’d talk about my situation as it might help others. Although I wouldn’t recommend this approach for everyone, I’ve found that having a crush can sometimes help break old habits. Let me explain my situation. There’s a girl in my class who I really like—she’s probably the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. This feeling of attraction motivated me to become a better person. I don’t have the balls to ask her out, but wanting to be someone worthy of her attention has made me lose interest in anything lust-related. I genuinely have no feelings of lust toward her or even toward porn. I’ve always been consistent with the gym and my studies but this inner drive has been motivating me even more than ever before. Some might argue that I’m just redirecting my bad habits, but I believe this type of projection is far healthier because it encourages self-improvement. Now obviously having a crush isn’t something you can do on command, but being vulnerable to this sort of attraction is key. Okay, one last thing before I stop yapping, I’ve talked about having a crush and what not, however; the general idea is to have/find an inner drive to keep you pushing. I’m really hoping that this could someone, or at least create a new perspective. On that note, I would like remind you that life’s a real blessing, don’t waste it being a version of yourself that you hate; Every new day is an opportunity to better yourself.
