Any women out there struggling with this

I’m a woman in my 20s and I got exposed through abuse as a child and now I feel paralysed and hopeless by this addiction. My life is full of shame, guilt and a feeling that I don’t deserve love

There are many women here, Victoria. You’re definitely not alone, and this is a much bigger women’s issue than most know about. 🫂🤍 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9 “For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” - Hebrews 8:12 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” - Romans 8:1-2 Dear friend, if you’ve repent before God, you are FREE. Your sin is no longer counted against you. Scriptures says that God “delights” in forgiving us. All shame after you’ve repented is from Satan, meant to hold your nose to your old sin. Walk free, sister.🤍

Shame will keep you captive to this demon. Being able to accept the situation for what it is and to move forward without shame will make it easier. In my opinion, at the end of the day, you will always be the one person you’ll have, so why be mean to yourself? Hold yourself to a high standard, but don’t kick yourself when you’re down. God loves you, regardless of your sins.
