Title really says it all, I’ve gone 2 weeks with no relapse but the urges are extremely strong

It’s not the same effect as actually watching porn but it can be detrimental. It really just depends on if you are only trying to quit porn or quitting both.

I would say yes because in all likelihood you are imagining pornographic things while doing it. So it still has the same effects on you mentally. The thing about porn is that it perverts the way you view reality. If you’re getting off to something, regardless if it’s actual porn or not, same effect on you

I reached 40 (no porn but jerking off). I then decided to reset, but this time without jerking off. I will say, it was the step I needed to say i’ve moved past this vice completely. However, I will say it that having the option in my mind that I could masturbate; did make moving past porn easier for me initially. Yhat’s just my own experience, It’s all about your own journey :)
