Not going to give in

Just woke up this morning, like a half hour ago, and I’m resisting some pretty strong urges right now. Mornings have always been a the most risky time for me if I don’t get up and moving right away. Interestingly the first 7 days I’ve been abstaining were not as hard as I expected, but today I want it bad. Not going to give in to this as much as my brain is telling me to.

Thanks Kathryn! I actually hit a week just about an hour ago!!! I’ve been working on setting up a home gym. It’s not quite ready yet, but I’m hoping to have it done this week! It’s a little tricky because in some ways it’d be better to be leaving the house and just completely squashing opportunity, but I believe I can stay disciplined! I’ve been working hard on developing a morning routine hitting all the notes, hygiene, skin care, hair care, exercise, meditation, eating well and then settling into my workday from there!

You got this Kevin! I’m the same way, mornings are the worst, so I’ve started going to the gym first thing and it’s helped me tremendously. Is there something else you can add in in the morning to help resist? Whether that be reading the Bible, going for a walk, gym, cold shower, etc? You’re so close to a week- you got this!!💪🏻
