Nearly two weeks in, Press On Forward!!!!

Ok, so I’m about to hit two weeks and tbh, it feels great! In the middle of it, there were some moments where I was heavily tempted to fap one out, and I was close at one point. However after pulling through and spending some time in the word, I feel like this is the first time in a while that I’ve beaten this temptation off for sometime, and that’s something I’m proud of. With this, I read a really encouraging verse today while bible studying. In Philippians 3:14, Paul writes “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Remember, the standard is Jesus, and as we go through this journey, the tripping stones will be plenty. But as we are in Christ, we are to remember the blood on the cross that cleansed us, that gives us another chance to pursue God and keep moving forward! So to anyone here, in the midst of temptation, press on forward, for there is a greater reward down the road than what you see in front of you. Love always ❤️
