I had a post a couple days ago and someone asked to be my accountability partner and we shared discord and it seemed stand offish at first and then they started opening up about someone that kept making them relapse and I was trying my best to help them stay away from it and give tips and advice but they kept replying with but she’s so hot or I can’t stop jerking it and even sent a pic and then I kept trying to talk them down they they stopped replying to me after I reached out a couple times! Did I fail my partner?

No you didn’t. Tbh it seems to me that they have no desire to quit or very little impulse control. You can’t help someone who doesn’t try and help themselves
