The truth is. All of us at one point were slaves to sin. BUT He who is freed by the son is free indeed. Without God we have nothing for every good gift comes from above. Trying to attack this head on is a losing battle instead turning to God is the only way. I’d recommend making a daily habit of reading the Bible. I think psalms is a great place to start and it can teach you how to talk with God. Psalm 51 is great in your position

It’s not a joke. Do better next time! This is your life and you only get one life

Try a full day without it then brother. Then two days. And so on. Anything that is better than yesterday is progress! Small steps are the most realistic path to any goal.

Or going on a run when you get the urge. To simply get busy as soon as you get the urge and avoid being by yourself if need be

Obviously I’m gonna keep going but it’s getting so draining I had this addiction since I was SIX and now I’m 18 - it’s eaten me up to the point where I can’t have at least one hour without a strong urge

So what are we going to do. Just give in & give up? Let the Devil and your flesh get what they desire? Or get up again and trust in the Good Shepherd?
