I’ve been struggling for 15 years to stop the addiction. Through tons of recovery and real personal work I’ve come to realize the only way to live a free and silver life is if you truly want it more than a life of acting out. I don’t care what anybody says, but until you cherish sobriety more than a couple minutes to gratification One will never stop. So I pray to God that he always keep my mind right, that he always instill in me a desire to stay sober and connected.
Yea but why stay sober? To what end? Why have that desire? I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I’m sure you can elucidate further. What does it matter if we sin and are addicted? What is gained if we are sober and in a state of grace? It gets kinda deep but I think answering these core questions is helpful to expediting the process
