Hate staying up

Hi there I’m 29 and have now been married 6 months. We have a good routine because of our 4 YO (my wife had her before we got together, but I am in the process of adopting her) so I usually don’t stay up that late. It’s midnight rn and I’m struggling. I came straight here and tried to switch to a posture of prayer because I know that I cannot do this on my own strength. I have tried for so long but God gives me every breath and every moment I struggle with this, I need HIM! So here goes… I’m grateful to God for this app and the community that it fosters to help men who are in great need to relinquish such a strong addiction and to break the chains of something that eats away at the soul, mind, body, family, and almost every other part of life. Porn has affected my walk with Christ so much that it numbs me from wanting to do better. But I cannot keep giving Satan footholds because footholds become strongholds and I cannot be the one that hurts my family. I cannot do this them. Tonight Lord, I plead that you would give us all the strength to fight against sexual immorality and impurity, and for those of us who may succumb help us to remember that while your judgement may be unyielding your love is steadfast. We must not test God, but give thanks and praise to your grace, mercy, and goodness. We are so richly blessed by you in this fallen and broken world. I ask that you would keep all of the men who use this app and to make it known to them that you are their Father who loves them dearly and you answer ALL who call upon your name and believe on and in your Son, Jesus Christ. We love you and praise you In your name I ask these things Amen
