Coping
I have always known that I’ve used the stimulus and relief you get from doing it to cope with stressors. Today I was reminded of that. I found out something bad involving one of my college classes and it sent me into that panic mode. Instead of calming down and focusing on the problem I immediately thought about doing it. Insta models seen through the day didn’t help. It took me a minute but I regained my composure and started working the problem. I didn’t break. I hope one day I don’t have to fight through that temptation to cope. Does anyone else feel the same way?
